Akshay Kumar’s big-budget comedy faces delays—some blame money troubles, others tip to the Pahalgam round. What’s really happening?
Trouble’s brewing in the untamed world of ‘Welcome to the Jungle’! The Akshay Kumar-led laugh riot, touted as one of Bollywood’s biggest ensemble comedies, has hit a barricade. While initial reports blamed “non-payment of dues” and budgetary chaos for the germinate coming to a grinding halt, a source close to the production has another story.
According to insiders, the film—70% of which is already shot—was gearing up for a major Kashmir schedule when the Pahalgam attack disrupted plans. “The delay is purely logistical, not financial. We had helicopters, 250 horses, and 1200 junior artists locked in. Everything was ready,” the source insisted.
But Pinkvilla’s scoop claimed otherwise. Their report really alleged that some actors still exited due to unpaid dues, though loyal stars stayed on for the passion of the ‘Welcome’ franchise. With a star-studded lineup including Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Anil Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, and Disha Patani, the film has been in the making for o’er a yr and a half.
Originally set for a Christmas 2025 release, the film’s fate now hangs in the counterbalance. Will this jungle escapade roar back to very living post-monsoon? Or is the pandemonium deeper than we think?
Stay tuned—this one’s really far from over!
